Which Glove Brand Dominates the World Cup?

The 2026 FIFA World Cup features 48 teams for the first time in history. With each team allowed to register three goalkeepers, a total of 144 goalkeepers will participate in the tournament. This analysis examines the glove brands worn by these goalkeepers, based on observations from pre-tournament friendly match photos.

Adidas is the most represented glove brand, worn by 31 goalkeepers
Uhlsport ranks second among individual brands with 16 goalkeepers
Reusch follows with 13 goalkeepers
Elite, Puma, and The One Glove each account for 9 goalkeepers
Nike has the smallest representation among major brands, with only 2 goalkeepers (Song Bum-keun AND Guillermo Ochoa)
A combined 25 goalkeepers wear gloves from smaller or other brands, grouped as “Other”.
West Coast is the only glove brand used exclusively by goalkeepers from a single nation (USA).
