The palm is built up around a 3,5mm thick Nova latex, which is extremely grippy and makes sure there is increased friction between the ball and glove. This helps give improved grip on the ball, so you can control it in all weather conditions. Under the surface you find a 4 mm thick foam, which offers good padding and shock-absorbency, so you are protected when saving hard strikes from the opponent. The Latex is also wrapped around the thumb, so you get better stability and it's easier to catch the ball.
